One of the most prominent personalities of the Czech natural scene will visit Ostrava.

The winemaker from Němčičky in South Moravia is one of the pioneers of authentic wine. He farms in the spirit of natural agriculture - from old vineyards, through orchards and fields to sheep farming. On 5 hectares of vineyards, wines are produced without additives, often as field blends - mixtures of different varieties from one vineyard that ferment and mature together.
Stávka's work is also characterized by macerated white wines (orange wines) with long maturation, which gives them depth, complexity and an unmistakable character.
His wines are not commonly available - he chooses only a narrow circle of partners. You'll find them more often in Michelin-starred restaurants like La Degustation or iconic establishments like Noma in Copenhagen than in classic wine shops. Each bottle is a unique reflection of the place, the vintage and the winemaker's signature.
What awaits you?
In the evening, Richard Stávek will personally guide you. You will taste at least 8 samples, including rarities that are not usually on offer. Each wine will be accompanied by a commentary on its origin, production and specifics. The tasting price includes water - and of course there will be a relaxed atmosphere with space for questions, discussion and personal meetings with the winemaker.

Richard Stávek's winery is one of the most prominent names on the Czech natural scene.
