Zeus 2024 is a playful, fresh red from Grenache, ideal for immediate enjoyment in the glass, yet precisely thought out. The grapes come from friendly winemakers who work ecologically and carefully to the soil. The whole grapes fermented spontaneously, mainly using the carbonic maceration method, to preserve the wine's clean, intense fruity aroma. It was then aged for several months on fine lees in old barrels and stainless steel tanks, without unnecessary intervention and with a minimum amount of sulfur.

At just 20 years old, Domaine des Marnes Blanches was founded by Pauline and Géraud Fromont. Neither of them came from a family with a winemaking history. Their parents were engaged in classical agriculture. Immediately after the winery was founded, they started farming organically and are now certified by Ecocert. They farm 10 hectares of vineyards, some of which are around 100 years old! The vineyards are located in three towns: Cesancey, Vincelles and Ste-Agnès. In Cesancey, their first vineyard was on white marl soil, after which they named the winery. In the other towns, there is a mix of different soils such as red marl and limestone. All their plots are vinified separately. They mainly work in the vineyards by hand. The wines are aged in stainless steel or neutral wooden barrels with minimal or no intervention.

Our paths crossed in July 2021 at the Le nez dans le vert festival, when we were already in a very cheerful state and Pauline agreed to cooperate, which we are very happy about! :)
