Domaine Saint-Cyr - Beaujolais La Galoche 2023

La Galoche 2023 is a lively, refreshing red wine from the prestigious Domaine Saint-Cyr, located in Beaujolais, specifically in the Anse region. This family business has been growing natural wines for the fourth generation and, under the leadership of Raphaël Saint-Cyr, the wine is produced with the utmost care for terroir and tradition. The wine is made from 100% Gamay, a variety that is typical of the Beaujolais region. The vineyards are located on clay limestone soils, which gives the wine its characteristic minerality and freshness. La Galoche 2023 undergoes a cold carbonic fermentation that lasts one week. The wine is then aged for 6 months in concrete tanks, which gives it a beautiful purity and a fine texture.
