A nice walnut! Salad? Walnut? No :) Walnut Riesling from Božice. It rested for almost 10 months in an older oak barrel, where it gained surprising fullness and roundness. Bottled without filtration and clarification. Lightly "sulfurized" before bottling.

Pepa, Eliška and Peter are the faces of the Donatus family winery. We discovered this young winery from Božice on one of our trips to Moravia. They are members of the "Svéhlaví" association - winemakers who make wine differently than their neighbors. And that's how we like it. Going the non-interventionist route, regardless of what others think!
