AEON – eternity (ancient Greek). The wines of the AEON series reflect the history of winemaking, faith in the future and eternity. The Koppitsch family has been making wine since the 16th century and have passed on their knowledge from generation to generation. For the Koppitschs, the soil has always been the foundation, which is reflected in their wines, which are typical of the subsoil. The wines of this series are also always bottled shortly before a full moon, so that the wine is enriched with the energy of the moon. They are 50% Weissburgunder and 50% Gruner Veltliner, the Seefeld vineyard is located in the west of Lake Neusiedl, on the last pieces of solid land before the beginning of the lake marshes. The entire area is flat, dry and very windy. Because Seefeld is hot and directly in the mist of Lake Neusiedl, the grapes boast a very intense aroma. AEON WHITE matures for 3 years in neutral barriques.

A family winery with a 500-year history. Marie and Alexander started in 2011 when they took over the vineyards from their parents and went straight to the natural regime. (Until then, the parents had rather resold the grapes to other winemakers).
They do everything themselves. They try to involve as few machines as possible in every step of the process. They farm 6 hectares of vineyards. Alex works in the vineyard and Marie takes care of the business.
The wines are completely free of anything extra, nature itself. Very energetic, spontaneous wines. Exactly the way we like them :)
