Elegant power with the aroma of cherries and poppy seeds. This is no rustic Frankovka – this is a subtle and noble red that plays with fruitiness, but does not let itself be swallowed up by it. Cherries, delicate poppy seeds, a firm structure and acid that hold it all together beautifully dominate. And the aftertaste? Long, clean and layered. The wine comes from the hands of Martin Grombíř, who farms old vineyards in an organic regime in Strážnice at the foot of the White Carpathians. The soil rich in limestone, clay and the memory of the ancient sea gives the wines a distinct minerality, character and depth. Some of the bushes are even 80 years old – and their roots know what they are doing.

Martin Grombíř. A name that sounds like the main character of a Moravian wine fairy tale - and rightly so. His Podkovné Winery is a place where grapes don't fight, but harmonize. Where wine ferments the way it wants, and yet tastes the way you would like it to.
Martin doesn't play around. He makes wine naturally, without frills, but with great feeling. He trusts the vineyard, listens to the cellars, and the result is bottles full of life, stories, and joy. No boredom, no dullness - just pure joy from wine that has something to say.
