A wine from an exceptional plot at an altitude of 400 meters, where old vineyards (over 80 years old) grow on white marl soils with a southeast orientation. This terroir gives the wine a unique character, mineral freshness and depth of flavors.

Renaud Boyer, originally a trained engineer from Meursault, took over the winery from his uncle Thierry Guyot. Thierry Guyot was an organic enthusiast who had worked his vineyards completely chemical-free since the 1980s. The influence of legends such as Pierre Overnoy and Philippe Jambon motivated Renaud to work without compromise. The vineyards are divided between Beaune, Puligny-Montrachet and Saint Romain.
