The small winery is located in the hilly area of the western spur of the Ždánický les in the village of Klobouky in the Velkopavlovice wine region. The vineyards, covering an area of approximately 1.5 ha, are spread over two vineyard lines, U Větřáku and Pod Plunary, and are 45-65 years old. Standa places maximum emphasis on the environment. Therefore, it does not use herbicides, systemic sprays or any artificial fertilizers in the vineyards.
The winery's production is approximately 8,000 bottles per year. The wines ferment spontaneously, without added selected yeasts and are made without any additives - only with a minimal SO2 content before bottling. Fermentation and subsequent aging take place in oak or acacia barrels and for some white wines in stainless steel tanks. The wines are not clarified and only a small part is coarsely filtered in some vintages before bottling.
