An elegant white wine with a straw yellow color and a fresh, precise fruity structure. The aroma is dominated by pear, green apple, gooseberry and grapefruit, complemented by delicate notes of jasmine, lemon peel, green tea and white pepper. The taste is delicate, harmonious and mineral, with a lively structure, where fruity and citrus notes are repeated until the long elegant finish. The wine retains its beauty even after years of aging.

MOVIA is a family winery with a long history dating back to 1820. The winery is located in the heart of the town of Collio on the border between Slovenia and Italy.

Aleš Kristančič farms 18 vineyards covering an area of 22 hectares. Aleš belongs to the 8th generation of winemakers in the Kristančič family. In his youth, he studied in Bordeaux and Burgundy, where he developed the idea of a completely different concept of wine production than other winemakers. The quality of Movia wine allowed the Kristančič family to become the exclusive suppliers of wine to state leaders in the former SFR Yugoslavia in 1958. After World War II, the vineyards remained in the hands of the family, which allowed this tradition to continue in Brda.

The wines are produced with the greatest humility towards nature, without unnecessary intervention by the winemaker and without filtration. His natural wines are as legendary as he himself. We personally have probably never met a more "crazy" winemaker. His tastings are legendary and we always can't wait for our next visit to Slovenia.
