Oxidative madness from L'Étoile. Jura without censorship. This wine forges its own path. 100% Savagnin from the biodynamically managed vineyard in L'Étoile, direct pressing, fermentation and maturation in 500l demi-muids barrels. The wine was regularly topped up for the first two years - then left to the mercy of time, air and a thin layer of flora. A total of 6 years in barrel, without anything extra - no filtration, no sulphur. Just pure Jura.

Maylis Bernard is behind the Zeroine winery from the small village of Rotalier in the French Jura region. Ohh, wait?! Yes, it's a project of the Ganevat family! The energetic Maylis is the wife of Jean-Francois Ganevat and his flair is more than evident in the wines - although he claims that he doesn't talk to his wife about it at all. :-)
