Zeroine - JuTP 2023
France | Jura | red
This is a light, lively red from Jura based on Pinot Noir and Trousseau, vinified using the infusion method without unnecessary interventions in the cellar. The wine stands for pure fruitiness, juiciness and fine tannins, which do not seem tight, but rather supportive. The aroma reveals griotka, raspberry, red cherry and delicate dried rose, complemented by a light tone of undergrowth and minerality. On the palate, the wine is airy, precise and very drinkable, with acidity that keeps it in tension and stretches into a long, salty-fruity finish.

Maylis Bernard is behind the Zeroine winery from the small village of Rotalier in the French Jura region. Ohh, wait?! Yes, it's a project of the Ganevat family! The energetic Maylis is the wife of Jean-Francois Ganevat and his flair is more than evident in the wines - although he claims that he doesn't talk to his wife about it at all. :-)
