Maria and Sepp Muster took over their parents' 10-hectare winery in Styria in 2000 and began growing vines biodynamically. The process of obtaining the biodynamic Demeter certificate was not that complicated for them, because their parents also pioneered the philosophy of no chemicals.
The steep hills of their vineyards are dominated by stony subsoil, after which their wines are also named - the Vom Opok series. The Graf series wines also have stony subsoil, but are located on steeper slopes facing south. The Graf series wines have lower yields and are much more structured and mineral in character. They also produce orange wines - Gräfin and Erde. Sepp's wines excel in typical Styrian acidity.
The tasting will be led by Robert Schwan. It will pull out current and older vintages from the archive.
The tasting price includes 8 wine samples, sourdough bread to nibble on and water.
Guided tasting led by HokusPokus owner Robert Schwan.
Limited capacity. Admission can only be purchased in advance.
