Zeroine - JuPPT 2023
France | Jura | red
JuPPT 2023 is a red wine made from a unique blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Gamay, grown biodynamically in the Jura region. This wine is produced using the semi-carbonic maceration method, which takes place in open wooden vats, where the fermentation temperature starts low and gradually rises to 14 °C. The result is a delicate but intense expression of both varieties.

Maylis Bernard is behind the Zeroine winery from the small village of Rotalier in the French Jura region. Ohh, wait?! Yes, it's a project of the Ganevat family! The energetic Maylis is the wife of Jean-Francois Ganevat and his flair is more than evident in the wines - although he claims that he doesn't talk to his wife about it at all. :-)
