Herzánovi - Veltlínské zelené ORANGE 2022/23

Veltliner in macerated form and a completely different matter than the classic white version. Here, the skins, structure and time are given space. Currently, the winery offers this batch as Veltliner Grüner ORANGE 2022/2023. The grapes are organically grown, fermentation takes place spontaneously and the wine was then aged for a long 24 months in oak barrels. It is dry, unfiltered and has 12.5% alcohol. Expect dried apricots, orange peel, herbs and spices, complemented by fine tannins and a longer dry finish. An orangeade that has structure but still remains well drinkable.
