Zeroine - PiAli 2022
France | Jura | red
Light, energetic and full of floral beauty. PiAli 2022 is a red wine from a unique blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Gamay, originating from biodynamically cultivated vineyards in the Jura and Mâconnais regions. This blend is characterized by a unique vinification approach - semi-carbonic maceration takes place in open wooden vats for 20 days. The fermentation temperature starts cooler and gradually rises to 14 ° C, which allows for a delicate and complex expression of the varieties.

Maylis Bernard is behind the Zeroine winery from the small village of Rotalier in the French Jura region. Ohh, wait?! Yes, it's a project of the Ganevat family! The energetic Maylis is the wife of Jean-Francois Ganevat and his flair is more than evident in the wines - although he claims that he doesn't talk to his wife about it at all. :-)
