You know it - you like a specialty coffee, you find yourself in France outside the big cities and your caffeine withdrawal symptoms have reached their peak. Then, like a mirage, in the waiting room of the Poligny train station, a roastery appears to you. (We overdid it with wine, but we are really talking about a waiting room at a train station) This is the story in short of how we came across Café Clandestin. 

At Café Clandestin, Simon Boone and Jean Deschamps roast seasonal, high-altitude coffees with a clear history of certified organic coffee beans. All coffees are hand-harvested and transported by boat. The coffees are lightly roasted to preserve the floral, fruity and spicy profile of the coffee bean.
