As a little boy, he spent a lot of time with his grandfather in the vineyard and their cellar. While studying viticulture and winemaking in Brno, winemaking became a passion that completely absorbed him.
In 2018, he founded a winery in Mackovice, Znojmo, where he manages approximately 1 hectare of vineyards. He produces around 10,000 bottles per year.
Michal's wines ferment spontaneously and mature on the lees for a long time without added sulfur. In addition to oak barrels, he also uses qvevri and stoneware vessels. He uses stoneware vessels primarily for their micro-oxidation properties.
