As is often the case, most good ideas are born over a glass of alcohol. This time it wasn't wine, but beer. Tomáš and Honza have been friends for many years. Tomáš went through many cooking stints in renowned Prague restaurants, eventually landing the position of chef. Honza was building his career in corporate banking. One June evening, when both were tired of their routine lives, Tomáš brought his first homemade pâté with wheat beer to a chilled pint. And MELMEMASO was born! Well, almost. There followed many joint meetings, testing, tasting, comparing and those beers that had to be dropped... The pâté-makers found their place in this work and make pâtés with heart and passion, which is reflected in their products.
