Prameny

Prameny Winery is located on the northern edge of the Morava wine region, near Uherské Hradiště. The surrounding landscape, shaped by the Morava River and the Chřiby hills, creates a distinctive climate with low rainfall, steady winds, and frequent autumn fogs – conditions that strongly influence the character of the wines.

Riesling is the core of the winery, making up more than 90% of the production. It is grown exclusively on historically proven vineyard sites, where the variety consistently reflects both the terroir and the vintage.

In the vineyards, the focus is on working in harmony with nature. The approach combines organic farming with principles of biodynamics, permaculture, and regenerative agriculture. All vineyard work is done by hand, without irrigation, with a strong emphasis on long-term balance and soil health.

In the cellar, the goal is to preserve the authentic expression of each site. Fermentation is spontaneous, without additives, acidification, or chaptalization. Wines are aged for 9 to 21 months in neutral vessels and bottled without fining or filtration.

The result is a style focused on precision, balance, and elegance rather than power – wines with freshness, lower alcohol, and strong aging potential.
