Since then, they have been creating beautiful Rieslings in the Moselle Valley. In 2010, encouraged by many of their sommelier clients, they began to delve into the world of natural winemaking with their Pur'us line of wines, in which they do not interfere at all. Only a few winemakers in Germany work organically. By completely eliminating sulfur, the Trossens are true pioneers in their field. They allow their wines to age on the lees for a longer period - "until all biological processes have come to an end." The depth of character and expression that their Riesling achieves without additives is truly incredible. The vineyards are full of slate, which is completely resistant to blight, so most of their vines are completely unpruned and some are close to 100 years old!
