Testalonga
Brand's website: TestalongaTestalonga Winery is a very young winery. It was founded by Craig and Carla Hawkins in 2008. This winery, located in the Swartland Mountains of South Africa, is slowly making a name for itself in the natural wine industry. Craig and Carla Hawkins founded the winery in 2008 with a single goal - to produce wines from natural grapes without the use of any additives. The first wine was a four-week-old Skin Contact Chenin blanc. Hawkins currently leases 11 hectares of organically managed vineyards, all of which grow on the granite soils of the Paardeberg and 4 hectares on the sandstone soils of the Piketberg. In 2015, they purchased a winery on the slate/sandstone soils of the northern Swartland Mountains called Bandits Kloof. The first vineyards were planted there in 2018, with a focus on Mediterranean varieties.
