Duca di Dolle
In the 16th century, Relais Duca di Dolle was the seat of a monastery of medieval origin. The winemaking tradition of these hills was started by the Camaldolese order. Later, the property passed to the Brandolini family. In the first half of the 1920s, it became the property of Nino Muru. This unique character, an amateur poet and passionate lover of nature and culture, opened the place between the 1950s and 1960s to friends such as the poets Giovanni Comisso and Andrea Zanzotto, with whom he enjoyed spending time. Zanzotto declared Borgo di Rolle to be like "a postcard sent by the gods". Today, Duca di Dolle is owned by the Baccini group.
