L'Octavin
Alice Bouvot is the proud owner of 5 hectares of vines in the Arbois region of Jura. Alice founded her domain in 2005 with just 2 hectares and over the years has purchased small plots and slowly increased their production. L'Octavin is biodynamically certified Demeter. Wild grass, weeds, insects and animals have a place in the vineyard, creating a real ecosystem that gives each glass of wine a deeper meaning.
Since 2009, all wines from L'Octavin have been "pur jus", without any additives. The grapes are hand-picked and fermented without the use of SO2, cultured yeasts or other additives. Most wines are aged in glass or steel tanks. Most L'Octavin wines are made to reflect the soul of the parcel from which the grapes come.
