Birgit and Helmuth started working with wine in 1988, sisters Stefanie and Susanne started a new era in 2014. Brother Georg also joined in 2020.
On the 12 hectares of vineyards in Burgenland, they use only manual labor. Since 2012, the Renners have been operating in BIO mode. In 2018, the sisters even received the Demeter Biodynamic Certificate.
Altenberg, Schafleiten, Goldberg, Gebühl and Ungerberg provide the best terroir - complex, fine wines with a character typical of this region.
We don't have to worry about the future of this winery in any way. Claus Preisinger and Susanne are life partners.
The Waiting for Tom wine line is dedicated to the two Toms who guided them on the "right path" during their internships. Tom Lubbe from Domaine Matassa and Tom Shobbrook from faraway Australia. Holt - sometimes you just have to wait for untimely legends...
