Red Wine
Red wine is made only from red grapes. The basic difference in production between white and red wines is that during fermentation, maceration also takes place in red wines. By maceration, we mean that wines ferment together with the grape skins. The skins provide the wine with coloring and other substances.
Regardless of the color of the grapes or wine, natural winemakers are primarily concerned with the absolute elimination or complete minimization of external chemical interventions both in the vineyard and when working with the wine in the cellar.
