The modern story of Domaine des Roches Neuves revolves around the name Thierry Germain. This is the same Germain family, which is known mainly in the Bordeaux region. Originally, Thierry made wines in the Bordeaux style, but later focused on the terroir of Saumur, to which he adapted. Thanks to this, he began to produce organically and then biodynamically.
